Crochet Coral Reef

One of the exhibits on display at the National Museum of Natural History is the Smithsonian Community Reef, a satellite of the worldwide Hyperbolic Crochet Coral Reef Project.

These first two photos are from the larger display made of bright colored yarn.

Another display in the exhibit was a crochet coral reef made completely from recycled trash, mostly grocery bags, garbage bags, and video tape.
